Community spotlight

Armed with a technical background in Engineering and years of experience in Product Management within Financial Services, I wanted to pursue the LBS MBA to complement my skills with a strategy mindset. Through the MBA, I learned how to elevate my perspectives and built a data-driven, strategy toolkit, that enabled me to mix both strategy and execution, and create end to end impact in global organisations.

I chose LBS because of the emphasis placed on student led impact, the collaborative nature of the School and the way the programme adapts to an ever-changing market. When I started my MBA, I could see that increasing the emphasis on building our students skills in Tech would create fantastic new opportunities for years to come. That was the start of an amazing journey to transform Tech @ LBS, truly mixing skills in tech, media, strategy and product.

As a student, I was privileged to lead the Tech & Media Club and this unique position enabled me to work with departments across the School to drive the creation of a Tech & Analytics MBA Concentration and to introduce data-fluency elements (such as SQL & Tableau) as part of our skills offering across the MBA and other programmes. We have completely transformed our offering in the Tech & Media space in recent years, and I'm thrilled to see these initiatives going from strength to strength, creating a lasting impact for the future. Indeed, in my current role, I truly bring together my tech background with the MBA, and cover strategy, execution and everything in between!
