So are CFA and the LBS Finance Masters (MSc) programmes effectively the same thing?
No. Designation as a CFA University Affiliation Programme Partner does not mean that the MiF or MFA and the CFA are the same thing; they are complementary to each other. Because of the breadth and depth of curriculum, the MiF and MFA are appropriate for CFA candidates and CFA charter holders alike. The MiF and CFA are very different and complementary study experiences and many students choose to follow both qualifications as part of their professional development.
