Meet representatives of LBS’s MBA Class of 2026

Members of our newest MBA cohort share their experiences with Clear Admit and Poets & Quants

Global diversity and a strong curriculum – just two of the many reasons students from our latest cohort give for choosing to study a Masters in Business Administration at London Business School (LBS).

The lure of joining a cohort which boasts no fewer than 65 different nationalities is much in evidence in Clear Admit’s Real Humans of the London Business School MBA Class of 2026 story. Six first-year MBA students feature, sharing their reasons for joining the School. Alex Wambugu, from Kenya, chose LBS to develop his leadership skills and grow a global network. Parisian Oriane Lesiak is also keen to make the most of LBS’s international diversity and career support. Victoria Clark, from Calgary in Canada, is seeking to open new doors in her energy career. Texan Travis Bruffy and Londoner Anoli Mehta are looking to build their entrepreneurial skills. Fellow Brit Max Taylor aims to foster inclusivity and collaboration among his classmates as he builds a strong business foundation.

For Gabriel Melo – a Brazilian investment banker who wants to learn more about investing in businesses which can drive positive societal impact – having access to a strong curriculum was a key reason for him picking LBS. His classmate Jasper Ryan chose LBS because the diversity of the cohort would allow him to explore how the space industry might disrupt and enable opportunities in other industries.

Gabriel is the first of a number of LBS MBA students who will be profiled by Poets & Quants (P&Q) as part of its Meet the MBA Class of 2026: The ‘Do Anything, Be Anyone Cohort’ editorial series. The annual student series showcases a small sample of the talented business professionals pursuing an MBA at LBS and elsewhere. Keep an eye on Poets & Quants for future instalments, as well as the first column from LBS’s new student columnist Divya Chaurasia who will be unveiling her first column for P&Q soon.
