Lloyds Scholars announces four scholarships for LBS students

Four London Business School MBA students to benefit from Lloyds Scholarships for Women programme

London Business School MBA students will have the chance to benefit from four £30,000 scholarships, as part of Lloyds Scholarships for Women programme, it was announced today.

London Business School’s MBA students are being recruited to scholarships as part of the Lloyds Scholarships for Women programme.

The Lloyds Scholars scheme awards scholarships to MBA candidates accepted onto London Business School’s top ranked full-time MBA programme for its 2015 intake.

The Lloyds Scholars MBA Scholarships for Women, funded by Lloyds Banking Group and delivered in partnership with London Business School, will provide four scholarships of £30,000 each. The programme was launched in 2014 to encourage women to pursue post-graduate management education.

The Lloyds Scholars MBA Scholarships for Women is available to female candidates who have been resident in the UK for three years or more who have accepted a place on London Business School’s full-time MBA programme.

Maddy Cross, a former Marketing Director and current beneficiary of the Lloyds Scholars MBA Scholarships for Women programme as part of the MBA 2016  cohort at London Business School said: “I chose to study an MBA for personal development reasons. I want to continue working in digital marketing when I graduate from the MBA, but I wanted to open up my knowledge base and develop new contacts. I already feel that I have more opportunities open to me now than I did beforehand and having benefited from a Lloyds Scholars MBA Scholarship for Women I feel confident in my future as a leader in business.”

In addition to the Lloyds Scholars MBA Scholarships for Women, one Lloyds Banking Group colleague will also have the opportunity to study for a part-time London Business School Executive MBA in the 2015-17 cohort.
