LBS Professor awarded Leverhulme Trust grant

Alex Edmans, Professor of Finance at London Business School, has received a Research Project Grant from the Leverhulme Trust.
The £256,622 grant will fund research focussed on a rapidly growing investing practice: responsible investing - the practice of incorporating environmental, social and governance factors on stock selection and engagement.
Leverhulme Trust was established in 1925 and funds researchers to undertake an innovative and original research project. The Trust seeks to fund outstanding scholarship, while maintaining a distinctive role within the research funding landscape.
Professor Edmans said: "I am very grateful to the Leverhulme Trust for their support of my research. Responsible investing is important for shareholders, companies, and wider society, and I will endeavour to use this grant to produce research that is both academically rigorous and practically relevant."
