London Business School (LBS) is looking towards The Second Sixty.

The School, founded in 1964, will mark six decades of excellence in business education with celebrations throughout the 2024-25 academic year.

Originally known as the London Graduate School of Business, LBS’s inaugural student intake comprised just 36 students pursuing an MSc qualification.

These days, the School delivers 11 degree programmes across its London and Dubai campuses, while its Executive Education programmes and online courses reach more than 12,000 participants annually. The LBS alumni community now boasts more than 54,000 business leaders across the globe.

LBS Dean Sergei Guriev said the milestone was an opportunity to renew the School’s commitment to shaping the world of business through the power of education.

“As we look to our next sixty years and beyond, we celebrate and learn from the example set by our alumni and the insights of our expert faculty,” he said.

“Their wealth of experience and knowledge ensures that our future students and participants will be equipped to navigate the complexities of the modern business world with confidence.

“Together, we will develop business and societal solutions for the decades to come.”
