London Business School (LBS) has been awarded Institutional Licensure and Programme Accreditation for the Executive MBA (EMBA) taught at its Dubai campus.

The awards are made by the United Arab Emirates’ Ministry of Education, through the office of the Ministry’s Commission for Academic Accreditation (CAA) and build on the School’s 14 years as a centre of excellence for business education in the region. With the School’s local partnerships with public and private organisations, the CAA awards underscore LBS’s reputation for world-class teaching within the UAE, and other Gulf States such as Saudi Arabia and Kuwait.

Since opening its campus in 2007, the School’s vibrant community in Dubai has gone from strength to strength. The 223 incoming and current students, executive education participants and more than 5000 alumni of the School’s Dubai programmes, are an essential part of its global success. So are the School’s strong relationships with corporate organisations in the region.

The School is proud of its Dubai alumni who are exemplars of LBS’s reputation for academic excellence, global diversity and innovative business thinking.

“It is the career progression and impact of our students, alumni and executive education participants in their organisations and the wider world, that make LBS so special,” says François Ortalo-Magné, Dean, LBS.

Located in the heart of the Dubai International Financial Centre, close to some of the world’s most influential banks, investment firms and commercial enterprises, the LBS campus is a vibrant and stimulating environment in which to study.

Commenting on the award of Institutional Licensure to the School and Programme Accreditation for LBS’s Dubai EMBA, Dean Ortalo-Magné says: “The awards from the CAA are an acknowledgement of the strength of our relationship with the UAE and of our local partnerships with public and private organisations.”
