About me: Tala holds a bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering and an MEng degree in Construction Engineering & Management. Prior to her MBA, Tala worked for a real estate developer on a unique project in her home country of Palestine – building the country’s first master-planned city, including all the necessary infrastructure and public facilities and then operating those facilities. Tala was responsible for the proper planning and financial control for some exciting projects, as well as the development of the company’s procurement policies manual and facilitating training and implementation under the new regulations.

Tala decided to pursue an MBA at LBS as she wanted to leverage its flexibility in duration and concentrations, its central location and its extensive network to transition into a different industry and function.

Tala is a member of a few clubs but is particularly excited for her involvement in the Fall Project with the Impact Consulting Club, where she and her team are working towards advising an NGO on their current governance structure.

In her free time, Tala likes to go for runs, exploring different neighbourhoods through brunching, reading and spending time with her dog, Gucci.
