About me: Suhail is a professional who has embraced change and taken bold steps to chart his own path in life. His journey began with a pivotal moment during his sophomore year when he realised that he needed to follow his own passions and convictions. This awakening led him to switch tracks from chemical engineering to industrial engineering, setting the stage for his commitment to courage, self-advocacy and helping others.
Throughout his career, Suhail has taken calculated risks and his achievements are a testament to his unwavering determination. He’s been recognised for his contributions in major projects, including playing a pivotal role in the largest oil and gas M&A in history. Suhail has also ventured into entrepreneurship, founding his own sports company, which, while not a complete success, allowed him to develop essential leadership and communication skills. In his managerial role, he understands the significance of emotional intelligence, advocating for not only himself but also his team members.
Beyond his professional endeavours, Suhail is dedicated to making a positive impact on his community and the next generation of Saudis. He co-founded the Saudis in Houston Organization, helping international students bridge cultural gaps, and has received recognition from both the Saudi Consulate and the Saudi Cultural Mission. He frequently speaks at universities, encouraging students to explore their interests and embrace new opportunities, particularly in the context of Vision 2030, which is transforming Saudi Arabia’s economic and social landscape. Suhail also demonstrates his commitment to education by mentoring a student through the non-profit organisation Our Family, believing in the power of education to break the cycle of poverty.
