Christine de Largy

Christine is an Executive Fellow in the Organisational Behaviour faculty. She has contributed to research on the impact of board dynamics on board processes to enable more effective decisions in the boardroom. She also leads the LBS "Introduction to Corporate Governance and Board Effectiveness" elective to focus on organisational sustainability. Her research interests cover corporate governance and board effectiveness, specifically the issues around building sustainable business.
Christine has over 20 years working with boards to facilitate their effectiveness. Formerly Chair, Board Services Executive Search, Harvey Nash plc. she coached executive and board member and led board appointment processes. Latterly she conducted board evaluations. Prior to this she held operational, marketing, buying and managing director roles with blue chip, UK, retail businesses.
Her PhD focused on understanding how organisations foster inclusion and surfacing the practices that lead to inclusion. Initial findings were published in The Female FTSE Board Report 2021: Inclusion works for everyone and Understanding practices which foster inclusion: views from the top. She devised and led the “Harvey Nash Annual Board Research”, for six years and for four years in Partnership with the London Business School’s Leadership Institute, to understand how boards are changing. She also led annual research on the changing face of leadership.
She is a qualified career development executive coach, helping executives foster purpose, fulfilment and success through their career. Christine is a Member of the British Psychological Society and the International Coaching Federation.
