Stan Boland

After graduating in Physics from Cambridge University, Stan Boland trained as an engineer in electronics and engineering computing with aerospace company Rolls-Royce.
He spent six years at Rolls-Royce, a year at Bell Resources, and then three years working with a large successful MBO before joining ICL, an affiliate of Fujitsu Limited, where he spent seven years in a variety of management roles, including CFO of two large operating divisions. In 1997 he joined Acorn.
Stan is a member of the IEEE and is qualified as an FCMA and an MCT.
