Ozlem Tetik wins the 2024 Sir James Ball PhD Prize
Marketing PhD student takes the prestigious prize for outstanding academic performance and impactful research
London Business School (LBS) PhD student in Marketing Ozlem Tetik (pictured) is the winner of the 2024 Professor Sir James Ball PhD Prize.
The Prize has been awarded in recognition of Ozlem’s outstanding academic performance and the significant potential impact of her research.
Praised as a thoughtful, proactive and productive scholar, Ozlem’s research focuses on enhancing individual decision-making, particularly in the areas of health and the environment sustainability.
The Professor Sir James Ball Endowed Scholarship Programme, comprising an MBA Scholarship and PhD Award, was established in honour of the late Professor Sir James Ball, who served as Dean of LBS from 1972 - 1984. Speaking about Ozlem’s win, Professor Niro Sivanathan, PhD Programme Chair, commented that:
“Ozlem is a very talented researcher who is a worthy winner of the Professor Sir James Ball PhD Award. We are extremely grateful to Sir James’ widow Lady Ball whose generous funding of this programme continues his legacy of academic excellence and innovation.”
