What is it like to be part of an entrepreneurship incubator
Senior Manager of Ventures Osman Haneef speaks about supporting start-ups at LBS's Institute of Entrepreneurship and Private Capital

Senior Manager of Ventures Osman Haneef spoke recently to BusinessBecause about supporting start-ups at London Business School’s Institute of Entrepreneurship and Private Capital (IEPC).
An ex-founder, World Economic Forum Young Global Leader, and published author, Osman spoke to BusinessBecause senior writer and video content manager, Shannon Cook, to explain what the LBS Incubator programme is all about and why there's no better time than now for budding entrepreneurs to start working on their business ventures.
When asked by BusinessBecause why London is a great destination for entrepreneurs, Osman said, "There is an incredible amount of talent and capital available, and London Business School benefits from incredible links to that capital".
Shannon observed that being an entrepreneur is not a 9 to 5 job, requiring lots of dedication and work, and as such, for those inclined to start a business, when would be the right time?
"We have seen students that perhaps have an inkling that they might want to try entrepreneurship, all the way to founders who have exited their business and want to find out what their next business will be," said Osman.
He gave the example of one success story - Ocean Bottle - which has created a sustainability-focused venture which helps the planet's oceans with the sale of every thermos bottle, thereby funding the collection of 11.368 kg of what would have been ocean-bound plastic.
And the experience of entrepreneurship is often self-perpetuating. Osman observes that once founders have exited their business, "they are still hungry to do more".
