LBS welcomes new Sloan and Executive MBA students
More global talent has joined the London Business School community with the latest intake of executive business students in London and Dubai
London Business School (LBS) has welcomed the latest cohort of business executive students to its London and Dubai campuses, with 110 students joining across the School’s Sloan Masters in Leadership and Strategy and Executive MBA (EMBA) programmes.
Some 36 students joined the School’s Sloan Masters programme in December 2024. An additional 74 students joined its EMBA programme in January 2025, with 36 joining the London class and 38 joining the Dubai class.
1511 students accepted offers to commence programmes with the School during the 2024/25 academic year, with 90 nationalities adding to the diversity of the LBS school community.
Highlights include:
36 Sloan students, representing 21 nationalities and bringing with them an average of 18 years of experience working in industries as wide-ranging as consulting, diplomatic services, finance, technology, agriculture, healthcare, the arts and beyond.
33% of the class are women.
36 EMBA London students, 33% of whom are women. There are 26 nationalities within the class, 33% of whom are commuters to the UK. (Both EMBA London and Dubai are part-time programmes which require travel for those students not residing in London or Dubai, hence use of the term ‘commuters’). The class boasts an average of 15 years’ work experience across 18 industries, with levels of experience ranging from seven to 31 years.
38 EMBA Dubai students, of whom 26% are women. 14 nationalities are represented within the class, 68% of whom are commuters outside the UAE. 19 different industries are represented, with students bringing an average of 14 years’ work experience to the class, ranging from seven to 25 years of experience. The class includes a strong mix of entrepreneurs and C-suite professionals.
