London Business School’s (LBS) MBA programme has again been recognised as one of the world’s best by the Financial Times (FT).

The School’s MBA ranks seventh in the publication’s annual global ranking of MBA programmes, an increase from eighth position in 2024.

The programme continued to perform strongly against the FT’s Aims Achieved metrics, with 90% of alumni reporting the LBS MBA had allowed them to achieve their goals.

Despite a challenging jobs market, 85%* of MBA graduates from the LBS Class of 2024 also accepted a job offer within three months of graduation.

The programme was eighth globally in the FT research rank, a reflection of the high calibre of research produced by LBS faculty.

The percentage of women on the School’s MBA has also risen - to 45% for the Class of 2026 (up from 43% for our Class of 2025). The result is supported by Forever Forward, the School’s fundraising campaign, which supports scholarship offerings and helps attract diverse minds from around the world.

The LBS board and faculty also reported record levels of female representation at 46% and 32% respectively.

International diversity remains high, with 93% of students, 89% of faculty, and 91% of board members holding international citizenship.

Graham Hastie, Associate Dean, Degree Education at LBS, said:

“We are proud to have been recognised yet again by the Financial Times as one of the world’s best MBA programmes.

“This result reflects the impact and global reach of the LBS MBA, and the hugely valuable contribution our community has made - and continues to make - to the programme’s success.

“Our MBA employment rate remains resilient despite difficult market conditions, confirmation that the programme equips graduates with the skills and insights needed to succeed in a rapidly changing business landscape."

The FT Global MBA ranking is an annual ranking of the world’s top 100 business schools, and is derived from 23 metrics that include measures of career progress, diversity, research and ESG. The 2025 ranking was based on responses from the MBA classes of 2021, 2020 and 2019, as well as data supplied by the School. Additional information on methodology can be found on the FT.

*London Business School’s MBA employment report for the graduating class of 2024 cites an employment rate of 86% three months after graduation. Two graduates reported accepting employment offers after the FT’s submission deadline and so were ineligible to be included in the employment rate reported to the publication (85%).
