Alex Edmans awarded fellowship

London Business School Professor of Finance Alex Edmans has been conferred the Award of Fellow of the Academy of Social Sciences (FAcSS).
The academy works to celebrate, raise awareness of, and advocate for, the social sciences in the UK. Its 1500 Fellows represent public and private organisations, the third sector, as well as academic institutions.
Professor Edmans said: “I am delighted to become a Fellow of the Academy of Social Sciences and continue to contribute rigorous scientific research on issues of major national interest.”
Professor Edmans will formally accept his Fellowship in person from current Academy President Will Hutton FAcSS at a future date.
