About me: I am a registered Professional Engineer with a Chemical Engineering degree from Queen’s University, Ontario. I spent seven years working in the energy industry in Calgary, Alberta. Most recently, I was with the Low Carbon Development Team at Enbridge, where I conceptualised, evaluated and developed sustainable business opportunities, with a focus on carbon capture and storage. I also gained experience in oil and gas consulting and reservoir engineering at McDaniel & Associates and Shell.
While my engineering background taught me how to break down complex technical problems, I recently started moving into more commercial functions. I chose to do my MBA to complement my technical background with more formal training in business—LBS seemed like a great place at which to do it!
I am a dual British-Canadian citizen who grew up living in Brunei, Syria, the US, Oman and Canada. Outside of the classroom, I love travel and outdoor sports such as running, biking, hiking, golfing and skiing.
Three topics I can be approached for: Energy; Women in Business; STEM background.
