London Business School campus

About our campus

In the middle of London, overlooking the famous Regent’s Park, we are proud to have our main campus on Sussex Place, the iconic frontage designed in the 1800s by the same architect who designed Buckingham Palace, John Nash.

In 2017 Sammy Ofer Centre opened after a major refurbishment of the old Marylebone Town Hall and Library. This exciting new building not only increased our teaching space by 70%, it was also shortlisted for a prestigious architectural award in 2018.

In 2019 we further extended the campus by acquiring the lease to the original building of the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists. This important new space contains some of our largest rooms and three floors of seminar rooms.

Developing for the Next 60 Years

The school continues to grow and develop, and over the next two years we’re completing the largest transformation of the Sussex Place Campus we’ve ever undertaken. This includes reconfiguring space to support quality and growth and optimise utilisation, and ensuring we invest in our estate to fulfil our status as a leading global business school. Three stand out projects are:

E-wing Refurbishment

We’ve just completed the full renovation of our Executive Education Building (E Wing). The renovation has created a contemporary teaching space more befitting a world leading business school

We’ve also been able to create an additional all day refreshment area and multi-functional space which will also be used as a prayer room, both of which increase our ability to welcome more Executive Education programmes onto campus.

The Plowden Refurbishment

Plowden Building will house our Careers Centre, two new large flat floor spaces, a newly refurbished Wolfson Lecture Theatre and associated seminar spaces, and a student well-being centre, which is the first time that we have had a dedicated space for this.

We’ll also be opening a large new retail catering and lounge space that will occupy the whole of the ground floor and will be used by the whole community.

We hope it will be a place where people come together to connect, we think it really will become the 'heart of Sussex Place.’

This project will be completed by mid-Summer 2025 and ready for teaching to begin in the next academic year.

Arrival Garden and Central Quad

We recently began work on what will be the new Arrival Garden and Central Quad. We demolished Chandler House which has held a central position on main campus for 55 years and over the coming months we will continue to undertake enabling works and take down the remainder of the wall which cuts the campus in two. By the end of this academic year we will start the major work on the project which will integrate of the North Building onto Sussex place, create more green space on campus and improve the connection between buildings.
